Getting Started

4 answers

For new members who want to understand what Edge Theory is and how to begin.

What is Edge Theory?

Edge Theory is a connected crypto trader-development platform. Its official workflow is Learn → Prepare → Inspect → Practise → Record → Review → Discuss → Improve. Academy supports learning, EdgePrep supports preparation, EdgeDepth supports inspection, EdgeCharts provides charting and simulated practice, TradeRank records and reviews decisions, Community supports discussion and Progress & Rewards helps identify the next useful action.

How do I start using Edge Theory?

Create a Free account, verify the email address and complete onboarding. Start with Academy or the guided Today route, then use the products in the order relevant to your work. You do not need to use every product every day. Upgrade only when the additional access and limits shown on Pricing fit your process.

Does Edge Theory provide trading signals or financial advice?

No. Edge Theory does not provide signals, copy trading, managed trading or personalised financial, investment, legal or tax advice. The products support education, preparation, simulated practice, process records and review. They do not tell you what to buy, sell, long, short or hold.

Is Edge Theory a broker, exchange or custodian?

No. Edge Theory is not a broker, exchange or cryptoasset custodian. It does not accept trading deposits, hold client money or execute customer orders. Real market data may be used, but balances, orders, positions and execution inside the relevant Edge Theory environment are simulated.

Memberships & Billing

4 answers

For plan access, subscriptions, renewals, refunds and invoices.

What is the difference between Free, Pro and Elite?

Free provides selected Academy and Community access, limited EdgePrep and TradeRank access, EdgeCharts, the EdgeDepth overview with limited Volume Profile and the published Free limits. Pro adds the complete core routine, full Academy, core EdgeDepth tools, full TradeRank review and higher limits. Elite adds the current Elite tools, including Depth of Market, the Detailed Order Book, Risk Lock, Risk Laboratory and the published Elite limits. Pricing is the current detailed comparison.

How do paid memberships renew and how do I cancel?

Pro and Elite are recurring monthly memberships billed in USD through Whop unless checkout states otherwise. They renew until cancelled. Cancel future renewals through the Whop account used at checkout. The checkout and provider confirmation are the final source for the product, amount, interval and effective cancellation details you accept.

Are Bootcamp and EdgeCapital included in membership?

No, unless a specific checkout explicitly says otherwise. Bootcamp and EdgeCapital are separate pathways with their own prices, eligibility and rules. A membership does not guarantee EdgeCapital entry, progression, funding or payout.

Can I request a refund?

You can contact support to request a review. Eligibility depends on the product, the checkout terms, whether digital access or a service has started, any product-specific rules and applicable statutory rights. Include the purchase email and transaction details. Nothing in Edge Theory terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Platform & Custom Terminals

3 answers

For dashboard access, custom terminals and platform behaviour.

What does simulated practice mean?

Real market data may be displayed, but the relevant balance, order, position and execution are created inside Edge Theory for practice or evaluation. No customer order is sent to Bybit or another exchange. Simulation cannot reproduce every feature of live liquidity, latency, fees, slippage, queue position, outages or emotional pressure.

Link to this answer

What does EdgeCharts do?

EdgeCharts is the charting and simulated-practice environment. Members can inspect charts, use supported indicators and drawings, save layouts within plan limits and practise simulated orders and position management. It does not connect a customer order to an exchange.

What should I do if a page, chart or tool is not loading?

Refresh once, confirm the browser is current, check the network connection and try the page without an aggressive content blocker. Do not repeatedly submit an order or form while the result is unknown. If the problem continues, contact support with the route, time, browser, selected market or timeframe, what you expected, what appeared and a screenshot that does not expose sensitive information.

Bybit Market Data

2 answers

For candles, charts, feeds and third-party market data.

How does Edge Theory use Bybit data?

Supported products use public Bybit market data for candles, trades, order-book context, open interest, funding and related displays. Edge Theory is not Bybit. Data can be delayed, incomplete, unavailable or different from another venue. Confirm account-critical information with the venue responsible for the real account.

What is the difference between actual, estimated and modelled data?

Actual data is retained from a supported public source, such as public trades or reconciled order-book snapshots. Estimated data is calculated from available inputs where the source does not provide the exact value. Modelled data is a scenario or derived representation based on stated assumptions. Read the label and methodology note shown by the tool; estimated or modelled data is not an exchange fact or prediction.

EdgePrep

2 answers

For watchlists, alerts and market preparation.

What does EdgePrep do?

EdgePrep helps turn a Radar-surfaced market into a written preparation. It supports market context, auction planning, location, supporting evidence, a Ready, Wait or Stand down decision and defined risk. It does not search every possible token on demand and does not issue signals.

What does EdgeDepth do?

EdgeDepth helps inspect participation, traded volume, displayed liquidity and supported derivatives context around a prepared market. Free includes the overview and limited Volume Profile, Pro includes the core toolkit and Elite adds Depth of Market and the Detailed Order Book. Visible liquidity can move or be cancelled, so EdgeDepth provides context rather than a directional signal.

TradeRank

4 answers

For performance records, rankings and trader credibility.

What does TradeRank do?

TradeRank records and reviews decision evidence. It includes journals, simulated trade records and the released review tools available to the member's plan. Its purpose is to make the original process available after the outcome is known, not to certify professional skill or guarantee improvement.

What does EdgeScore mean?

EdgeScore is informational and based on eligible simulated activity. It does not predict profitability, prove live-market skill or override EdgeCapital rules. The score and explanation can change when eligible records, configuration or methodology change. No score increase is guaranteed.

Link to this answer

What happens when I import a supported Bybit CSV?

TradeRank can import supported Bybit CSV records for review as separately labelled imported evidence. Parsing depends on the columns and completeness of the file. Edge Theory does not independently verify live profitability from a CSV. Imported evidence remains excluded from scoring, competitions, leaderboards and EdgeCapital eligibility.

What are Risk Lock and Risk Laboratory?

Risk Lock applies member-configured controls to simulated activity. Strict Practice blocks configured actions and Observation Mode records member-confirmed overrides. It cannot prevent losses or control activity outside Edge Theory. Risk Laboratory is an educational simulator that uses recorded R distributions to model drawdown ranges, losing streaks and different risk levels. Its scenarios are not forecasts.

Academy & Bootcamp

2 answers

For lessons, training and structured education.

How does Academy access work?

The public Academy catalogue is built from currently published courses and lessons. Each course or lesson has a Free, Pro or Elite access level. The Academy records progress, completion and eligible knowledge-check attempts. Completing content does not certify professional competence or guarantee a trading result.

What is the 8 Week Bootcamp?

Bootcamp is a separate structured education and accountability pathway. It is not included automatically in Free, Pro or Elite unless checkout explicitly states otherwise. The current Bootcamp page and checkout describe the scope, price and applicable refund wording.

Competitions & Leaderboards

2 answers

For simulated competitions, rules and reward reviews.

How do competitions and leaderboards work?

Competitions use eligible simulated activity under published entry, scoring, tie-break, disqualification and review rules. Results can remain provisional while integrity and eligibility checks are completed. Membership does not guarantee points, ranking, prizes or entry, and simulated rankings do not prove future live performance.

Are XP, badges and rewards money?

No. XP, badges, milestones and proof cards recognise recorded platform activity. They are not deposits, investments or withdrawable balances. A separate benefit exists only where a current published reward or competition rule expressly provides it and its eligibility checks are satisfied.

EdgeCapital

2 answers

For simulated account evaluation and trader-development review.

What is EdgeCapital?

EdgeCapital is a separate simulated evaluation and trader-development pathway. Current challenge sizes, fees and the Fast Track or Structured Path rules come from the central Capital catalogue. Each route has published targets and loss controls. It does not provide a live brokerage account, and membership or completion does not guarantee funding, payout or another opportunity.

Link to this answer

Where are the current EdgeCapital rules?

The EdgeCapital page shows the current account-size and fee comparison and the current One-Step and Two-Step rule sets. The member checkout uses the same central catalogue. Review the exact target, verification stage, daily loss, total drawdown, minimum days, consistency cap, leverage ceiling, simulated reward split, eligibility and applicable terms before purchase.

Rules & Restrictions

2 answers

For platform integrity and prohibited behaviour.

What behaviour is prohibited?

Prohibited behaviour includes account sharing, identity misuse, duplicate-account abuse, leaderboard or review manipulation, false performance claims, exploiting data delay, bypassing access or risk controls, chargeback abuse, harassment, malware, unsafe uploads, scraping protected data at scale and attempts to interfere with the platform or another member.

Can I use bots, scripts or automation?

Only where Edge Theory expressly permits the specific use. Unauthorised bots, scripted account activity, scraping, automated strategies or API actions can be restricted where they affect security, product integrity, competitions, TradeRank evidence or EdgeCapital evaluation. Security testing requires prior written authorisation.

Support & Security

4 answers

For account protection, bug reports and support contact routes.

How do I contact support?

Email support@edgetheory.pro or use the Contact page. We normally reply to new enquiries within two business days, Monday to Friday excluding public holidays in England. Complex investigations can take longer. Include the account email, affected route or product, approximate time, browser and device, what you expected, what happened and a screenshot where useful. Never send passwords, authentication codes, private keys, seed phrases or unnecessary identity documents.

Link to this answer

How should I protect my account?

Use a unique password, protect the email account used for sign-in, do not share sessions or verification links and sign out on shared devices. Treat unexpected login, payment or identity messages cautiously. Report suspected compromise promptly. Edge Theory will never need a wallet seed phrase or private key to provide platform support.

How are onsite reviews verified?

A reviewer must meet the account-age, activity, access and status checks in the Verified Member Review Policy. Staff, founders, contractors, test accounts and suspended or fraudulent accounts are excluded. Affiliate relationships are disclosed. Positive and critical reviews receive the same moderation checks, and the onsite average uses all approved genuine onsite reviews.

Link to this answer

How does Affiliate commission work?

Approved Affiliates may earn 20% on qualifying purchases attributed to their referral link, subject to the Affiliate Programme terms. A click or registration alone does not create commission. Attribution, successful payment, refund, cancellation, chargeback, fraud and programme checks can affect qualification. Participation does not guarantee income.
