Edge Theory Capital Ltd is the controller for personal information processed to operate Edge Theory, company number 17336236, registered in England and Wales and operating from Warrington, Cheshire, UK. Section 2
Information you provide
This can include your name, email address, username, profile details, region and preferences; support and contact messages; newsletter consent; Academy answers; preparation notes; simulated orders and journal entries; playbook and review records; Community posts, comments, uploads and reports; reviews; Affiliate applications; competition entries; EdgeCapital information; and identity information submitted where a restricted pathway requires verification. Do not submit personal information that is not needed for the feature you are using.
Section 3
Information created through use
The platform can create account and session records, membership and entitlement status, Academy progress, watchlists, layouts, preparation history, EdgeDepth snapshots, simulated-trading activity, TradeRank evidence, scores and explanations, XP and reward history, competition evidence, moderation records, device or browser identifiers, security events, feature-usage events and timestamps. Outputs may combine member inputs with configured calculations and market data.
Section 4
Information received from other services
Whop provides customer, purchase, membership, renewal, cancellation, refund, chargeback and Affiliate information needed to reconcile access. Bybit supplies public market data and supported CSV records may be uploaded by a member. Resend supplies email delivery events. Veriff may provide identity-verification decisions where that flow is used. Google supplies authorised Calendar connection data only for eligible Ambassador Programme roles that choose to connect it. Authentication and database services provide session and security information.

Why we use personal information
We use information to create and secure accounts; provide memberships and product access; save member work; process and reconcile purchases; operate simulated environments; calculate and explain platform metrics; run competitions, reviews, Affiliate and EdgeCapital processes; deliver service and consented marketing email; respond to support; prevent fraud and abuse; maintain audit records; diagnose faults; measure product use; meet legal obligations; and establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Section 6
Lawful bases
Depending on the activity, processing is necessary to perform a contract or take requested pre-contract steps, meet a legal obligation, pursue legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, or act on consent. Legitimate interests include platform security, fraud prevention, service improvement, entitlement reconciliation, record integrity and handling disputes, balanced against member rights. Consent is used where required for optional marketing and relevant storage or access technologies, and can be withdrawn for future processing.

Accounts, authentication and security
Our authentication and database providers support account sign-in, sessions and primary application storage. We process sign-in identifiers, verification state, session information, account status and security events to authenticate users and protect the service. Administrative actions use additional access controls and audit records. We may rate-limit requests, validate uploaded file content, record failed or suspicious activity and restrict accounts while a security or fraud concern is reviewed.

Payments, memberships and Affiliate records
Whop handles checkout and recurring membership management. Edge Theory processes the identifiers, product, price, currency, status, timing and provider events needed to grant or remove access, reconcile refunds and chargebacks and investigate billing issues. Affiliate data can include referral codes, campaign fields, attributed registrations or purchases, commission status, overrides and fraud checks. Edge Theory does not use these records to claim that a referral or commission is guaranteed.
Section 9
Learning, preparation and simulated activity
Academy records progress and eligible assessment attempts. EdgePrep stores selected markets, preparation stages, notes and decisions. EdgeDepth can store member-selected preferences and evidence snapshots. EdgeCharts stores layouts, watchlists and simulated orders, positions and history. TradeRank stores journals, attachments, confidence, review and evidence records. These records provide the requested workflow, history and analysis; simulated records are kept separate from imported evidence where the product requires that distinction.
Section 10
EdgeScore, rankings and automated metrics
EdgeScore, TradeRank analyses, leaderboards, competition scores, readiness indicators and similar outputs apply configured rules to eligible records. They are informational platform measurements, not psychological diagnosis, credit scoring, live-profit verification or financial advice. EdgeScore does not predict profitability, prove live-market skill or override EdgeCapital rules. Human review remains part of moderation, appeals and other processes where the published rules require it.
Section 11
Community, public content and encrypted DMs
Profile information and content posted to public or member Community areas is processed so it can be displayed, searched, moderated, reported and retained with its discussion context. Public rooms remain server-readable. New one-to-one DM text, replies and attachments are encrypted in registered member browsers before reaching Edge Theory. Edge Theory still processes routing, participant, device, timing, report and other service metadata, and earlier messages are not retroactively encrypted. Reported or unencrypted content can be reviewed where the safety system permits it.
Section 12
Email, newsletter and support
Service emails support verification, account administration, security and requested platform functions. The Traders Edge newsletter requires a separate opt-in and provides an unsubscribe route. We retain consent wording, time and status so preferences can be respected. Resend is used for email delivery and supplies delivery, bounce, complaint and related events. Contact and support records include the message, reply permission, account identifiers, attachments where provided and the actions taken to resolve the issue.
Section 13
Analytics, cookies and local storage
First-party product analytics can record a random browser identifier, a one-way hash derived from that identifier and user agent, signed-in user ID where available, a permitted event name, limited properties and a timestamp. Cookies can also support authentication, referral attribution, tracked email hand-off, administrative security and short-lived Calendar authorisation. Browser local or session storage is used for interface preferences, chart settings, certain product state and campaign attribution. The Cookie Policy lists the current purposes and durations.
Section 14
Providers and disclosures
We use service providers where needed to operate the platform, including our authentication, database and hosting providers, Whop for checkout and membership events, Resend for email delivery, Bybit for public market data, Veriff for identity checks where enabled and Google for an authorised Calendar connection. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, law enforcement or courts where lawfully required, and to protect members, the company or the platform. Providers receive only the information needed for their role and process it under their own terms and our arrangements with them.
Section 15
International processing
Some providers and infrastructure may process information outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires a transfer safeguard, we use an available lawful mechanism such as an adequacy regulation, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to approved standard clauses or another permitted safeguard. Provider locations and arrangements can change as infrastructure changes.
Section 16
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed for the purpose collected, the active account or programme, security and fraud prevention, payment and tax records, dispute handling, legal obligations and defensible audit history. Different records therefore have different periods. Authentication and active product records normally remain while the account or relevant service is active. Payment, consent, moderation, competition, signed agreement and security records may remain longer where needed for legal, integrity or audit reasons. Cookie-specific durations are stated in the Cookie Policy. When information is no longer required, it is deleted, anonymised or isolated from ordinary use where technically and legally appropriate.

Your rights and choices
Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent for future processing. You can change available profile, privacy, notification, email and message settings in the product. A request may require identity verification and some information may be retained where a legal obligation, security need, dispute or overriding lawful basis applies. Contact support@edgetheory.pro. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Section 18
Security and changes to this notice
We use access controls, server-side authorisation, encrypted transport, validation, rate limits, audit records, bounded uploads and other technical and organisational measures appropriate to the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or record has been compromised. We update this notice when products, providers or legal requirements materially change and will change the displayed review date.
