Risk Disclaimer

Trading cryptocurrencies and other financial markets involves substantial risk. Before using Edge Theory, it is important that you understand the purpose of our platform, the limitations of our services, and your own responsibility when making trading decisions.

Disclaimer: No Edge Theory feature removes trading risk. Real market data may be used, but execution inside the relevant Edge Theory environment is simulated and no customer order is sent to an exchange.

Section 1

General market risk

Cryptoassets, leveraged products and speculative markets can move rapidly and may be unsuitable for you. Prices can gap, liquidity can disappear, volatility can increase and losses can exceed an amount you expected to risk outside a properly limited environment. Never treat software, education, a score or another member's opinion as a substitute for understanding the product and your own financial circumstances.

Section 2

Educational and informational use only

Educational and informational content only. Edge Theory does not provide financial, investment, legal or tax advice. It does not provide personalised recommendations, signals, copy trading, managed accounts or instructions to buy, sell, long, short or hold an asset. Trading involves significant risk. No outcome is guaranteed.

Section 3

Simulation boundary

Real market data may be used, but balances, positions, orders and execution inside the relevant Edge Theory environment are simulated. No customer order is sent to Bybit or another exchange. Simulated balances are not deposits or withdrawable funds. Simulation cannot reproduce every feature of live liquidity, latency, fees, slippage, queue position, outages, emotional pressure or market impact.

Section 4

Performance and examples

Past performance, simulated results, metrics, rankings and examples do not guarantee future results. A profitable example can contain poor process and a losing example can follow a disciplined plan. Screenshots, worked examples, leaderboards, challenge balances and reports may use simulated or demonstration data and must be read with the label and context shown.

Section 5

EdgeScore

EdgeScore is informational and based on eligible simulated activity. It does not predict profitability, prove live-market skill or override EdgeCapital rules. A score can change as records, eligibility, configuration and methodology change. No score increase or commercial outcome is guaranteed.

Section 6

EdgePrep and EdgeDepth

EdgePrep helps organise market context, conditions, invalidation and risk before a decision. EdgeDepth displays supported order-flow, participation and liquidity context. Neither product creates a buy or sell signal. Visible order-book liquidity can be moved or cancelled. Footprint, liquidation and other views may include actual, estimated or modelled information as labelled, and no single reading proves future direction.

Section 7

EdgeCharts and simulated execution

EdgeCharts provides charting and simulated practice. Simulated fills, stops, targets, balances and positions do not establish what a live exchange would have executed. Strict Practice and other controls can block or record configured simulated actions but cannot prevent market loss, remove risk or control activity outside Edge Theory.

Section 8

TradeRank evidence and imported records

TradeRank supports recording and review. Imported supported Bybit CSV records are labelled imported evidence and remain subject to parsing, completeness and source limitations. Edge Theory does not independently verify live profitability from a CSV. Imported evidence is excluded from scoring, competitions, leaderboards and EdgeCapital eligibility where the product states that boundary.

Section 9

Analyses and educational tools

Outcome-Blind Review separates an initial decision from later outcome evidence. Process Leakage classifies recorded process differences. Playbook Proof compares recorded activity with written playbook rules and does not prove competence. Confidence Calibration compares pre-execution confidence with later evidence and is not psychological diagnosis. Risk Laboratory models scenarios from recorded R distributions and is not a forecast.

Section 10

Market data risk

Bybit and other third-party data can be delayed, incomplete, revised, inconsistent with another venue or temporarily unavailable. Calculations depend on the quality, timing and scope of their inputs. Internet, browser, hosting, websocket, exchange and provider incidents can interrupt or distort a display. Confirm account-critical information directly with the venue responsible for the real account.

Section 11

Community risk

Community posts, rooms, direct messages, livestream discussion and member reviews reflect individual contributions unless clearly labelled as an official Edge Theory notice. Members may be mistaken, biased or discussing a different risk tolerance. Public-room moderation reduces abuse but does not validate every market statement. Do not treat member content as professional or personalised advice.

Section 12

Competitions, rewards and EdgeCapital

Competitions, rankings, XP and rewards use simulated or platform activity under published rules. They do not prove live profitability or guarantee a prize. EdgeCapital is a separate simulated evaluation pathway. Membership, completion, a readiness score or a successful simulated challenge does not guarantee funding, payout, progression, employment or another opportunity.

Section 13

Leverage and loss limits

Leverage increases the effect of price movement and can accelerate losses. A platform maximum is not a recommendation to use that amount. Daily-loss, drawdown, stop and consistency rules are controls for a specific simulated environment; they do not make trading safe and do not replace personal risk assessment.

Section 14

Personal responsibility

You remain responsible for decisions, position sizing, leverage, tax, legal and regulatory obligations, exchange access and the security of any real account you use outside Edge Theory. Consider independent professional advice where appropriate. Do not trade money you cannot afford to lose and do not rely on Edge Theory as your sole source of information.

Section 15

Contact and urgent issues

For clarification about a label, metric, simulation boundary or platform rule, contact support@edgetheory.pro before relying on it. Edge Theory support cannot provide personalised financial advice. If you believe a real exchange account or financial asset is at immediate risk, use the security and support controls provided by the institution that holds or executes that real account.

Important Principles

Trading always involves risk.

Never trade money you cannot afford to lose.

Edge Theory provides education, not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

Past performance never guarantees future results.

Every trading decision remains your own responsibility.

Market intelligence and performance tools support preparation, not prediction.

Community discussions represent the views of individual members and should not be treated as professional advice.

Questions about risk?

Contact the Edge Theory team if you need clarity on how our education, tools, and simulated systems should be interpreted.

Process measurement is not outcome prediction

Education, preparation, simulated practice, records, scores and rankings can support review, but they cannot establish what a future live-market result will be. Past performance, simulated results, metrics, rankings and examples do not guarantee future results.
