From intelligence to automation
Edge Theory starts further upstream. Market intelligence helps organise what is happening. Published Signals turn selected research into structured setups. Approved Signals and strategies can then become sources for Bots configured by members.
This connects the Bot to the wider Edge Theory intelligence platform.
A published Signal does not automatically activate a Bot. The member decides whether and how it becomes part of their configured workflow.

Bot Builder
Bot Builder takes you through the setup required to create your own Bot. The exact controls remain governed by the existing member workspace and its validation.
Give the Bot an identifiable name.

Review the full configuration, create the Bot and activate only after valid setup.

Simulated balances, orders, positions and results help you understand how the Bot behaves. Paper activity is not exchange execution.
Exchange Connections provide the bridge for supported, enabled workflows. The connection and operating mode remain distinct from intelligence and Signal research.
Membership or Bot access does not select a mode or activate a Bot for you.

Edge Theory distinguishes simulated Bot activity from exchange-connected activity.
Paper / simulated uses simulated balances, orders, positions and results so you can learn how the Bot behaves. It is not exchange execution.
Exchange-connected uses the existing Exchange Connections layer for supported, enabled workflows. The interface should identify that operating mode clearly.
The existing connection workspace keeps credentials, adapter status and operating mode separate from Edge Theory intelligence. Supported exchange-connected functionality depends on the enabled connection.
Your attention matters
Without automation, a large part of trading can become waiting. Checking. Refreshing. Looking again. Watching a setup that may take hours to develop.

The member Dashboard is the summary of the Bot workspace. It should help members understand which Bots exist, which mode they use, which are active or paused, recent activity, open positions according to their mode, health and what needs setup or recovery.
That is different from Pulse. Pulse organises market intelligence; the Bot Dashboard organises your automation workspace.

Marketplace
The Edge Theory Marketplace provides available Signal strategies that can become part of a member’s Bot workflow.
A Marketplace item does not automatically start a Bot. The member still needs to build and configure their own Bot before activation.

Start with intelligence, learn how Signals work, use EdgeCharts and practise through paper trading. When the workflow makes sense, build your first Bot.
If you already trade, use Bots to turn an approved Signal or strategy into a configured workflow that doesn’t require constant manual monitoring.
More advanced members can use the Bot tools and controls available to their membership to manage a broader automation workspace.
