Verified Member Review Policy
This policy explains exactly how onsite Edge Theory reviews become eligible, how they are moderated and disclosed, and how the public rating is calculated. Its purpose is to prevent fake or misleading evidence without suppressing genuine criticism.

Policy 01
What verified member means
An onsite review is a verified member review, not automatically a verified-purchaser review. Eligibility is based on the Edge Theory account and recorded platform activity. A paid purchase is not required unless the review or product label expressly says otherwise. Public review cards must not imply that a reviewer paid when the evidence shows only membership and activity.
Policy 02
Who may submit
The reviewer must be signed in, have an account at least seven days old and have qualifying activity on at least three separate days. Suspended or fraudulent accounts are not eligible. Staff, founders, contractors and test accounts are excluded. An Affiliate may review only when otherwise eligible, and the Affiliate relationship is disclosed on the published review.
Policy 03
Product eligibility
The review form offers only supported products the eligible member can review. The current product list covers Academy, EdgePrep, EdgeDepth, EdgeCharts, TradeRank, Community, Competitions, EdgeCapital, Bootcamp and the Affiliate Programme where applicable. Affiliate Programme review selection is available only when an Affiliate record exists. A product selection indicates eligible access or relationship, not a guaranteed level of use or a purchase unless separately stated.
Policy 04
Submission requirements
The member chooses a whole-number rating from one to five stars, a title between 3 and 80 characters and a review between 50 and 1,000 characters. At least one eligible product must be selected. Publication consent is required. The member also chooses the available public-name treatment, which can use their username or an anonymous verified-member label according to the current display rules.
Policy 05
What Edge Theory verifies
The eligibility check uses account creation time, distinct active days, account status, staff status, ban state, relevant product access and Affiliate relationship where applicable. It does not expose those internal checks publicly. Edge Theory does not publish the reviewer's email address, internal user ID, billing record, private support messages, private trading history or private account balance as review verification evidence.
Policy 06
Moderation standard
Every submitted review enters moderation. The review is assessed for authentic first-hand relevance, privacy, safety, spam, illegal content, promotional abuse and accurate simulated-trading context. Positive and critical reviews receive the same checks. Edge Theory does not change a member's rating or rewrite the member's words to improve sentiment. A public business response, where used, is stored separately from the review.
Policy 07
What is prohibited
A review must not expose personal information, passwords, private keys, seed phrases, private support-case details or another member's private content. Threats, unlawful material, promotional links, spam, impersonation, fabricated experience, guaranteed-profit claims, misleading income claims and false statements that Edge Theory sends customer orders to Bybit or another exchange are prohibited.
Policy 08
Changes requested, rejection and removal
Moderation may approve a review, request changes, reject it or remove a previously approved review. Changes requested, rejection and removal require a specific recorded reason. Genuine criticism, a low rating, disagreement with Edge Theory or an unfavourable product experience are not valid reasons by themselves. Fraud, privacy, illegality, fabricated experience and other policy breaches are valid reasons.
Policy 09
Editing and withdrawal
A member can update and resubmit their review. Editing an approved review returns it to moderation and removes it from public display until a new decision is recorded. A member can withdraw their review. Withdrawal removes it from the public average and display while preserving the internal status and audit history needed to show what happened.
Policy 10
Rating calculation
The onsite average is the sum of ratings from every approved, genuine and consented onsite review divided by the number of those reviews. Pending, changes-requested, rejected, removed and withdrawn reviews do not affect the public average. Edge Theory does not invent an average when there are no approved reviews. Whop ratings, if displayed, remain separate and are never merged into the onsite calculation.
Policy 11
Affiliate and incentive disclosures
Edge Theory does not reward favourable sentiment. If feedback is ever incentivised, the same reward must be available regardless of rating or opinion and the published review must show the incentive disclosure. An Affiliate relationship is always labelled. A disclosure gives readers relevant context; it does not automatically invalidate the review or turn it into independent customer evidence.
Policy 12
Reports and challenges
Anyone can report a suspicious published review with a reason between 10 and 500 characters. A member can challenge a moderation outcome through support. Reports and challenges are reviewed against the same authenticity, privacy, safety and fairness rules. Repeated reports do not require removal where the review remains genuine and compliant.
Policy 13
Audit record and privacy
Moderation status, reason, consent, selected products, disclosure flags, timestamps and related review actions are retained as an internal audit record. This supports consistent moderation, reports, disputes and rating integrity. Public display is intentionally narrower. Review information is handled under the Privacy Policy and access to internal moderation data is restricted.
Policy 14
Current evidence boundary
A small review sample cannot establish typical member experience or likely outcomes. Edge Theory therefore presents the current number of approved onsite reviews and the applicable Affiliate or incentive disclosures rather than replacing missing evidence with broad performance claims. Past experience, any review and any rating do not guarantee a future trading or platform outcome.
A review is evidence of one member's reported experience.
It is not a promise of profit, skill, funding, payout or a typical result. Read the review count, product selection and all Affiliate or incentive disclosures alongside the words and rating.
