Find and understand the market

Start with the public Pulse overview, then log in to explore the Market Scanner, published Signals and workspace Search. These pages help you investigate; they do not make the trading decision for you.

Follow the steps for the task you need.

Member pages may ask you to sign in. Page contents and access can vary with your account.

01

Pulse overview: start with the public introduction

The public Pulse page explains what Pulse is for and links to the member Scanner and Signals pages.

  1. Open Pulse from the public site, or select Open Pulse overview below. You do not need to sign in just to read this introduction.
  2. At the top, read the headline and short explanation to understand Pulse’s purpose: organise market information so you can decide what deserves investigation.
  3. Scroll down to Market Scanner and read its explanation. Select Open Market Scanner when you want to enter the member tool; if asked, log in and continue.
  4. Scroll to Signals to see how the page describes a structured setup. Select Explore Signals to open the login flow for the published Signals feed, then sign in if prompted.
  5. Continue down the page if you want more context about the Pulse workflow. Use See how Edge Theory works if you want the broader platform explanation.
  6. The overview is an introduction, not the live Scanner itself. Use the member pages for the current market list and published Signal records.

Market Scanner: search and inspect a market

The Scanner shows available live exchange markets. Use its view links, venue selector and search form to narrow the list, then open a row for details.

  1. Open Market Scanner from the Workspace menu, or select Open Market Scanner below. If you are asked to log in, enter your account email and password and continue.
  2. At the top of the page, note the Live markets and Live venues counts. If the page says live market data is unavailable, the ticker feed is not available at that moment; the Scanner does not replace missing prices with Signals.
  3. Use the view links above the form. Turnover is the default view; select 24h movers to order the list by the size of its 24-hour move. The interface currently shows another option also labelled Turnover, so this guide does not assign it a different meaning.
  4. Open Market venue and choose All venues or a listed venue: BYBIT, BITGET, BINANCE, HYPERLIQUID or OKX.
  5. Enter a symbol, base asset or venue in Search symbol or market..., then select Search. Select Clear search to remove the query and return to the wider list.
  6. The results show market, price, 24h move, volume, turnover, liquidity and freshness where those values are available. A field shown as unavailable is not a trading instruction or a substitute for checking current conditions.
  7. Select a market row to inspect it. On desktop, its details appear beside the list; on a smaller screen, a details panel opens over the page. Select Close to return to the results on mobile.
  8. In the inspector, review the current market price and displayed 24h, freshness, high/low, turnover, volume, source and liquidity details. Select Open Signals to open the Signals feed for that symbol and venue.
  9. If signed in, use Add Watchlist to save the market to your watchlist. The button changes to In Watchlist when it is already saved; if you are not signed in, the page says sign-in is needed to manage watchlists.
  10. Use Previous and Next below the results to move through pages. To change how many rows appear, open Rows and choose 25, 50, 75 or 100.

Save and reopen a Scanner screen

A saved screen stores the Scanner filters so you can return to the same search and venue selection.

  1. Log in, then open Market Scanner. Saving requires a signed-in account.
  2. Choose the view, Market venue and search query you want the screen to remember. Set the row count if you want a particular list size.
  3. In the Saved screens row, open Save current view.
  4. Enter a name in Name this screen, then select Save.
  5. Wait for the confirmation Screen saved to your Pulse account. If an error appears instead, read it and check that you are signed in before trying again.
  6. To return later, select the saved screen’s name. Use its × control only if you intend to delete that saved screen.

Signals: filter the feed and inspect a setup

The Published Signals page lets you narrow research and open a Signal to inspect its plan, rationale and invalidation.

  1. Open Live Signals from the Workspace menu, or select Open Published Signals below. If prompted, log in.
  2. At the top, read the Your Signal context row. It shows the venue and Signal timeframe preferences currently applied. Select Change preferences if you need to review those settings.
  3. Use Search market or reason to find a symbol or a topic. Use Direction to choose Long and short, Long or Short.
  4. Open Lifecycle to choose Any lifecycle, Forming, Ready, Triggered, Closed, Invalidated or Expired. Ready only is a separate toggle and is on by default; changing Lifecycle may update that toggle.
  5. Use My Markets to limit the feed to saved markets. Use Use my venue & timeframes to apply your saved venue and Signal timeframe pairs.
  6. Select Reset filters to clear your search and filter selections and return to the feed’s default settings.
  7. Select a Signal row. On a wide screen its detail panel appears beside the feed; on a phone, the Signal detail opens over the page. On mobile, select Back to signals to return to the list.
  8. In the detail panel, read the market, venue, timeframe pair, direction and lifecycle first. Under The plan, review Entry, Stop and Target; then read Why this Signal, Invalidation and any Context or Caution note shown.
  9. Select View full Signal for the expanded Signal path. Use Back to signal feed to return. If there are no matching Signals, check the filters; if the page says the signal ledger is unavailable, the data source is unavailable rather than an empty result.
  10. Treat a Signal as published research, not a buy/sell instruction or a guarantee. Decide for yourself whether the setup is relevant to you.

Search the member workspace

Search indexed Edge Theory destinations when you know the topic or task but not which page contains it.

  1. Open Search from the member navigation, or select Open workspace Search below.
  2. Enter a market symbol or a topic in the Search Signals, markets, alerts, decisions, Community... field, then select Search.
  3. Read the result count and query above the results. Each result shows its category, whether it is a Member workspace, Public page or Legal information destination, a short description and an Open destination link.
  4. Select the result that matches what you need to open that page. Search indexes destinations; it does not search every private account record or guarantee a result for every phrase.
  5. If no results match, try a broader word. The page suggests terms such as pulse, BTC, watchlist, alerts, review, settings, privacy or FAQ.
  6. If you leave the search field empty, browse the featured destinations, the Market intelligence, Review and improve, Community and messages, Account and support, and Public and legal sections. You can also choose a starting point or popular-search term on the right.
