Browse the Marketplace

Marketplace contains published strategy versions and paper Bot listings. Read each listing’s description, access terms and available evidence before choosing what to do. Downloading a strategy or copying a paper Bot does not start trading; the resulting Bot must be reviewed and separately activated.

Marketplace Bot listings are paper workflows. Paper activity is simulated. A rating or historical backtest is not a promise of future results. Paid access is separate from Edge Theory membership and must be shown as granted before you download or copy a listing.

Follow the steps for the task you need.

Member pages may ask you to sign in. Page contents and access can vary with your account.

Browse Marketplace listings

Search published listings, narrow by the available categories and sort the results to find material to inspect.

  1. Sign in, then open Marketplace from the Workspace menu. If Marketplace shows an access or upgrade message instead, follow the options displayed for your account.
  2. Use Search marketplace… to match text in a listing name or description, Bot type, or trader name.
  3. Use the category list to choose Browse, Templates, Strategies, Signals, Copy bots, Portfolios, Apps, Giftcards or Deals. Not every category necessarily has a published listing; read the count and empty state for the selected view.
  4. Under Bot families, choose All paper bots, DCA, Grid or Market-making to narrow Bot listings by family.
  5. Use Sort to arrange results by Featured, Best rated, Newest or Free first. These are catalogue sort choices, not a recommendation or expected outcome.
  6. On a listing card, check its type label, description, displayed access/price, trader name and rating count. Choose View details to inspect an individual listing.

Review a listing and its requirements

The detail page shows the listing description, type, access status, configuration details and reviews. The Backtests tab currently has no seller snapshots to inspect.

  1. From the catalogue, choose View details on the listing you want to inspect. The listing page opens at /marketplace/[listing].
  2. On Overview, read the full description. Check Listing details for Type, Bot family, Max positions and Published date, then read the Access contract and any displayed configuration.
  3. Check the access label and action button in the listing panel. Free access or a displayed paid price is not the same as access granted; if the listing is paid and you do not have access, the action is Purchase access.
  4. Select Backtests. The current page says that no seller backtest snapshot is stored on this listing, so there are no backtest figures here to evaluate.
  5. Select Reviews (count) to read the published average, number of reviews and any comments. If the page says there are no published reviews or no rating yet, there is no review evidence to assess.
  6. Use View all marketplace listings to return. Do not infer compatibility or performance details that the listing does not show.

Use available strategy material in your workflow

After access is available, a Strategy listing can be downloaded to your private library; a Bot listing can be copied into a paper Bot draft. These are explicit user actions, not automatic trading.

  1. Open the listing details and confirm the type. A Strategy version and a Paper bot have different actions.
  2. For a paid listing without access, select Purchase access. Review the listing name and amount in the checkout overlay before choosing to complete payment. Close the overlay if you do not want to continue. After checkout, wait for the listing page to refresh and show that access is granted.
  3. For a Strategy listing, select Download strategy. Wait for the confirmation that it was added to your private library. This download does not create or start a Bot.
  4. Then select Add to bot. The site creates a draft paper Bot from the downloaded strategy. Open Bot control / Manage Bots, select the new draft and review its configuration. It remains inactive unless you separately activate it.
  5. For a Paper bot listing, select Copy paper bot. This creates a separate draft in your Bot workspace; it does not mirror the publisher’s trades or start the draft automatically. Open Bot control and review the copied settings before deciding whether to activate Paper execution.
  6. For a Pulse strategy starter, select Use in bot builder when that button appears. The Builder opens with that strategy selected; complete and review the Bot setup there. If the listing shows Unlock with [tier], use that link to review the access option instead.
  7. If an action returns an error, read the message and do not repeatedly submit it. Ask support with the listing name and non-sensitive error text; never include passwords or API credentials.

Create and publish a Marketplace listing

The seller workspace saves a draft from a strategy version or paper Bot. Free listings can be published after validation; paid listings require seller approval and verified checkout setup.

  1. Open Marketplace, then choose Open seller workspace in the For traders section. Sign in if prompted.
  2. In Publish your work, choose Listing type: Strategy version or Paper bot. Under Source, select the saved strategy/version or Bot you want to list. If the source is not available in the dropdown, save or configure it in its own workspace first.
  3. Enter Listing name and Description, then choose the Access model shown: Free or Paid trader listing. Check the selected source and wording carefully; these details are what members see.
  4. Select Save listing draft. Wait for the saved confirmation, then find the item under Your unpublished listings.
  5. For a free listing, select Publish beside the draft when the source is valid. Read any validation error; a saved draft is not yet public.
  6. For a paid listing, complete Paid trader application first: enter Trader name, the requested monthly price in USD, Short trader bio and billing period (Every 30 days or Every 365 days), then select Apply as paid trader. Wait for the displayed application status. Approval does not publish a listing by itself; verified seller checkout details must also be recorded.
  7. After the paid application is approved and the page indicates the seller checkout setup is verified, return to Your unpublished listings and select Publish for the intended draft. If Publish is blocked, follow the displayed reason or contact support; do not create duplicate applications or drafts.
  8. After publishing, check the item under Published marketplace and open it as a member would to verify the visible description and access details. Publishing a Paper Bot or strategy does not claim results or guarantee performance.
