- Limited evidence
- Strong influence from one outcome
- Easy to overinterpret
- Little context
The Edge Theory Season
A complete season tells a much bigger story.
Season is a structured simulated trading competition built around repeated preparation, risk, execution and review. It asks what remains of the process when decisions are measured over time and pressure continues.
Real market data may be used, but balances, positions, orders and execution inside the relevant Edge Theory environment are simulated. No customer order is sent to Bybit or another exchange.

Why a Season exists
A strong result can come from poor risk. A weak result can follow disciplined execution.
One session rarely provides enough evidence to separate the process from the outcome. A longer season makes recurring behaviour easier to examine.
The question is not only where you finish. It is what remains consistent when the pressure continues.
One day
A complete Season
More activity creates more context, but it does not automatically prove skill or predict future results.
Competition changes behaviour
It is easier to follow a routine when nothing is being measured. Competition adds pressure. Pressure can change position sizing, patience, selectivity and execution. Season gives traders a defined environment in which those changes can be recorded and reviewed.
01
Do you still wait for the written conditions?
02
Does the intended risk change when the leaderboard matters?
03
Does the simulated decision still follow the plan?
04
Can you explain what changed before the next active session?
Season does not promise to improve these behaviours. It makes them easier to observe.
The daily Season rhythm

This is an active-session rhythm, not a Monday-to-Friday schedule and not an instruction to trade every day.
01 · Prepare
Define the market, conditions and invalidation before acting.
02 · Inspect
Check participation, liquidity and supported order-flow evidence.
03 · Practise
Use simulated execution only when the written conditions are present.
04 · Record
Preserve the thesis, intended risk, execution and result in the same session.
05 · Review
Examine eligible simulated activity across risk, consistency, execution and risk-adjusted performance.
06 · Repeat
Carry one relevant observation into the next active session.
Apply relevant learning before or after an active session.
Discuss reasoning under current Community standards.
Carry useful next actions forward without rewarding unnecessary trading.
Individual use will vary. A preparation session may end with Ready, Wait or Stand down and does not need to produce a simulated trade.
Configured methodology
Scoring version: season-score-v1-1-2026-07-28. The approved version is applied to eligible activity and is not replaced by staff preference.
How each day contributes
The leaderboard uses the current approved Season Score. It combines eligible simulated performance with drawdown control, risk discipline, consistency, execution discipline and activity confidence.
Eligible simulated results relative to the risk behind them.
Daily and overall drawdown under the published limits.
Recorded risk, leverage and escalation behaviour.
Distribution, concentration and risk stability across the Season.
Recorded stop-loss and risk-field compliance.
Whether enough eligible evidence exists for the configured threshold.
Qualification thresholds determine whether a record can receive a final ranking. They do not add points or create a membership advantage.

Ranking reflects eligible simulated activity only. It does not identify the best trader, prove future profitability, demonstrate live-market skill or establish professional competence.
Ties are resolved by risk-adjusted performance, lower drawdown, risk discipline, consistency, eligible days and then the earlier final verified score, in that order.
Beyond final position
By the end of the Season, an active participant may have a longer record of:
The leaderboard lasts for one Season. The record remains available for later review.
The value is not only knowing where you finished. It is understanding what the pressure revealed.
