Estimate a flat monthly cost run-rate from your execution assumptions. The calculation keeps fees, turnover, slippage and funding visible; it does not forecast returns.
Use your own average execution costs. A “round trip” means one entry and one exit.
Estimated net cost per month
90.00 USDT
+0.90% of starting account value each month
This is a flat-cost estimate, not a return forecast. It assumes unchanged position size and trade count each month; it does not compound the account or model market impact. Funding is signed for the selected long position.
See how the same per-trade assumptions scale when monthly round trips change. These are arithmetic scenarios, not trade forecasts.
| Scenario | Average round trips / month | Net cost / month | Starting capital drag |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0.5× current turnover | 15 | 45.00 USDT | +0.45% |
| Current turnover | 30 | 90.00 USDT | +0.90% |
| 2× current turnover | 60 | 180.00 USDT | +1.80% |
Average fee per fill = maker fee × maker share + taker fee × taker share. Monthly net cost = position notional × monthly round trips × [2 × average fee per fill + 2 × slippage per fill + signed funding rate × funding intervals] ÷ 10,000. For the standard perpetual convention, positive funding is paid by longs and received by shorts; the selected side reverses the funding contribution. Check the convention used by your venue. Funding credits can reduce net costs or create a net credit. Defaults are illustrative, not exchange fee guidance.
